The Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), Indian Army, has invited applications from eligible Indian male and female candidates for 120 vacancies of Short Service Commission (SSC) Medical Officers. Interested candidates with an MBBS or recognised postgraduate medical qualification can apply online.

• Male Candidates: 90 Posts
• Female Candidates: 30 Posts

Educational Qualification

• MBBS degree from a recognised medical institution.
• Permanent registration with a State Medical Council, NMC or MCI.
• Recognised postgraduate medical degree holders can also apply.
• Completion of internship is mandatory. Candidates must check the detailed notification for the applicable internship cutoff date.

Age Limit

• MBBS Degree Holders: Below 30 years.
• Postgraduate Degree Holders: Below 35 years.
• Age will be calculated as of 31 December 2026.
