Power Grid Corporation of India Limited (POWERGRID) has announced recruitment for 319 Engineer Trainee vacancies in Electrical, Civil and Computer Science disciplines under Advertisement No. CC/04/2025 dated 27 September 2025.
Vacancy Details
- Engineer Trainee (Electrical) – 250 Posts
- Engineer Trainee (Civil) – 48 Posts
- Engineer Trainee (Computer Science) – 21 Posts
- Total – 319 Posts
Educational Qualification
- Electrical: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in a relevant Electrical discipline with at least 60% marks and GATE 2026.
- Civil: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in Civil Engineering with at least 60% marks and GATE 2026.
- Computer Science: B.E./B.Tech/B.Sc. Engineering in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or IT with at least 60% marks and GATE 2026.
Age Limit
Maximum age is 28 years as on 31 December 2025. Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.

- SC/ST/PWD: No fee
