Educational Qualifications
- Head Constable (General Duty): Candidates must have passed Class 12.
- Constable (General Duty): Candidates must have passed Class 10.
Candidates must also satisfy the prescribed sports qualification criteria for the relevant post.
Sports Eligibility
Eligible sportspersons include candidates who have represented India in recognized international competitions; represented a State or Union Territory in national sports competitions or championships and achieved a position up to third place; secured first or second place in inter-university individual competitions or reached the final round in team competitions; or won a gold or silver medal in junior national-level competitions.
Age Limit
The prescribed age limit is 18 to 23 years as of 1 August 2026.

- SC/ST: 10 years of age relaxation
- OBC: 8 years of age relaxation
