Central Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2026 – Overview
Central Railway has announced 2,861 Apprentice vacancies under the Apprentices Act, 1961, through Advertisement No. RRC/CR/AA/2026. The vacancies are available across the Mumbai, Bhusawal, Pune, Nagpur and Solapur clusters.

Educational Qualification
Candidates must have passed the 10th standard with at least 50% marks and possess an NCVT certificate in the relevant ITI trade.
Eligible ITI Trades
Fitter, Welder, Carpenter, Painter (General), Tailor (General), Electrician, Machinist, Turner, Instrument Mechanic, Electronics Mechanic, PASAA, Mechanic Diesel, Mason, Pipe Fitter, Blacksmith, Cable Jointer, Wireman, Mechanic Auto Electrical & Electronics, Mechanic-cum-Operator (Electronics Communication System), Mechanic Communication Equipment Maintenance, Mechanic Radio & TV, ICT System Maintenance, Sheet Metal Worker, Mechanic Machine Tools Maintenance, Mechanic Motor Vehicle, Armature Coil Winder and Stenographer (Shorthand English/Hindi).
Age Limit
Candidates must be between 15 and 24 years of age as on 3 November 2026. Age relaxation is 5 years for SC/ST candidates and 3 years for OBC candidates.
